Last year, I attended the infamous Coachella for the first time. I was excited to see most of my favorite bands, dance for three days straight with my friends and, of course, see what everyone would be wearing.

Before leaving, I had planned to write about what was “hot” in the desert…that is, until I actually arrived.

It was painfully obvious — and kind of amusing — that so many people had Googled the inspiration behind their looks, thinking if they combined many of the trends, they would be original.

Below are the best of the best “Googlers” I found. Oh, and one more thing…

In the future, when a random person comes up and asks to take a picture of you for their blog, instead of striking your best pose and giving your best duck face, I highly recommend asking what your picture is being taken for…because you may not find out until you Google “Coachella.”

I’m pretty sure this look would come first
in your Google image search:

Three things all festivals must have:
Fringe, flowers, and fanny packs:

The multi-trend Googlers do exist,
and can usually be spotted traveling in packs:

Or if you’re extra lucky (like me), they break away for a minute
in the hopes of being snapped for some kind of style blog:

His and Her metallics are actually a thing:

Even if you don’t like “Felicia,” don’t say “bye” to her until
after Coachella, so you can get your “original” group shot:

Until next year, please DON’T:
