On August 10, 1959: Actress Rosanna Arquette was born in New York City. Known for her roles in Pulp FictionThe Big Blue, The Whole Nine Yards, and After Hours, she also routinely appeared in the TV Series What About Brian. Additionally, she also acted as the Editor-at-Large of Fit Parent Magazine in 2009.


On August 10, 1986: The Broadway musical Me and My Girl opened at the Marquis Theater. The musical tells the story of an unassuming cockney man in the 1930’s who is plucked from obscurity when it is discovered that he is actually the heir of an Earl. Originally written in the thirties, the show was revised in 1984 by famous comedian Stephen Fry. The result was a production that took the West End and Broadway by storm, garnering 13 Tony nominations and winning three.


On August 10, 1982: Model Devon Aoki was born in New York City. She is an accomplished model, having appeared on the cover of numerous magazines including Japanese Vogue, Nylon Magazine, and i-D Magazine. Aoki has also appeared in numerous music videos and films. She is most known for her role as the assassin “Miho” in both Sin City and Sin City 2.
