MISS SAIGON  COMES TO BROADWAY

On April 11, 1991: Miss Saigon made its debut at the Broadway Theatre. The musical went on to a 4,092-performance run and 11 Tony Award nominations, winning three.

On April 11, 1947: Actor, director, and screenwriter Peter Riegert was born in The Bronx. Some of Riegert’s best-known roles are as Boon in Animal House, Lt. Kellaway in The Mask, and Ronald Zellman in the HBO original series, The Sopranos.
