DANNY AIELLO

On June 20, 1933: Actor Danny Aiello was born in Manhattan. After working as a night club bouncer at the legendary comedy club The Improv, Aiello appeared in numerous films such as Léon: The Professional, The Godfather: Part II, Do the Right Thing, and Once Upon a Time in America. 


FLOYD PATTERSON DEFENDED HIS TITLE

On June 20, 1960: Highly decorated boxer Floyd Patterson knocked out Ingemar Johansson in the fifth round of their rematch at the Polo Grounds. At 21 years old, Patterson became the first boxer in sports history to regain the Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship and the youngest boxer to ever win the title.
