A FOCKER IS BORN

On November 30, 1965: Comedian and actor Ben Stiller was born in New York City. A prolific actor that has appeared in countless comedy and drama films throughout the years, Stiller has created a firm place for himself in American popular culture. Stiller is a part of the “Frat Pack” acting crew, alongside Owen and Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Jack Black, Will Ferrell, and Steve Carrell.


FASHION TROUBLE FOR MIKE TYSON

On November 30, 1988: Native New Yorker Mike Tyson was sued for $92,000 by a Manhattan furrier for the alleged nonpayment of a Russian sable coat. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Tyson has been known not only as a legendary boxer but also for his antics and iconic face tattoo.

JACKIE ROBINSON CHARGED THE YANKEES

On November 30, 1952: Brooklyn Dodger Jackie Robinson charged the New York Yankees of racism. He claimed so because the Yankees failed to bring up African-American players to the playing field. Yankees executives denied the allegations.
