Mark Feuerstein’s career is the definition of perseverance. Feuerstein appeared in numerous television shows over the years but many, if not all, were either cancelled or never made it to air. Some would give up, but Feuerstein kept on working, is now enjoying the fruits of labor in the form of USA Network’s Royal Pains.

Feuerstein’s first big break came on the daytime soap opera, Loving in 1995. His appearances in the soap opera led to his role in the sitcom Fired Up!; the sitcom also featured actresses Leah Remini and Sharon Lawrence. Unfortunately the show was cancelled during its second season. He would go on to star in the film, Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock; his appearance in this film would lead to his future casting in What Women Want in 2000 because the director’s daughter insisted he be casted in it.

His first lead role came in the sitcom Conrad Bloom. Like his previous show, it would be cancelled too. This was a consistent theme in Feuerstein’s career for a time. The other shows that he starred in were The Heart Department, Good Morning, Miami, and 3 Lbs.

Good Morning, Miami

Feuerstein guest starred on numerous shows over the years including The Closer, West Wing, Law & Order, Shark, and Rules of Engagement. He also starred in the Golden Globe nominated film, In Her Shoes. It also starred Cameron Diaz, Toni Collette, and Shirley MacLaine.
