What’s he done? Pacino is a famed stage and screen actor, having appeared in dozens of films and plays. He has been nominated for eight Oscars, winning only once for his role in Scent of a Woman. He has also won two Tony awards.

Why is he an icon? Pacino is famous for playing iconic film mobsters, including Michael Corleone in The Godfather trilogy and Tony Montana in Scarface.
