We’re eating…

Rosemary’s

Ready for a European getaway? With just a swipe of your MetroCard, you can experience delicious Italian fare right here in New York City, courtesy of Rosemary’s in Greenwich Village. The creation of Carlos Suarez (Bobo, Claudette), Rosemary’s is a no brainer when you’re craving a taste of Tuscany, inspired by Suarez’s mother, the restaurant’s namesake. The beets, dandelion, and hazelnuts salad is a great way to start your meal — no doubt thanks in part to the restaurant’s rooftop farm — especially with a glass (or bottle!) of wine from their extensive and carefully curated beverage menu, all while enjoying the inviting, rustic atmosphere.

We’re watching…

The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby

Set right here in New York City, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby is actually a three-part film series (Him, Her, and Them) from writer/director Ned Benson, starring Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy. Him and Her each examine the same series of events, viewed from the perspective of McAvoy and Chastain’s characters, respectively, and both actors turn in outstanding performances. The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby (Them) is out now in select theaters (Paris and Sunshine in NYC), and redefines the notion that there are “two sides to every love story.”

We’re going to…

Rouge New York

One of the first things you’ll notice about Rouge New York is that this business was created with the consumer in mind. From affordability to convenience, the focus is squarely on helping every woman (or man, for that matter) look their best, thanks to professional services in a comfortable, relaxed environment. One particularly interesting item on the Rouge “menu” is called the “The C-Suite,” which — much like a gym membership — allows for unlimited, drop in services at a monthly rate. Next time you’re in Soho, visit Rouge, and look like you…only better.
