EXCLUSIVE: Harley Flanagan Cro-Mags Brawl Dismissed

The case that began with the infamous Hardcore brawl at the CBGBs festival over the summer has been dismissed.

During the intervening months Flanagan has often said, referring to that night in July, that it was as if his past had collided with his present life; a life which has little in common anymore with the current Hardcore scene he helped create in NYC. Over the past 6 months, Flanagan has appeared before the court at 100 Centre Street on three separate occasions facing four second degree felony assault charges and weapons possession, each resulting in an adjournment.

In New York Natives’ exclusive video interview, a calm, cool and collected Flanagan appeared happy to get back to his life, clearly, yet humbly confident that things would turn out as they have. In his own words: “the only thing I was ever guilty of, was defending myself.”
