Nicola Kraus is the co-author of the #1 New York Times best seller The Nanny Diaries, which was adapted into a 2007 movie of the same name starring Scarlett Johansen and Alicia Keys. Her other books include Citizen Girl, Dedication, Nanny Returns, Between You And Me, The First Affair, So Close, and the young-adult titles Over You and The Real Real.
Her work and partnership with Emma Mclaughlin have been featured on CNN, MSNBC, the Today show, Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, and The View, and in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, TIME, Elle, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Becoming very successful early on in life allowed Nicola to quickly learn that money can’t buy happiness — only access to the therapists and gurus to guide you on your journey. She is obsessed with self-actualization, and enjoys having a platform for sharing her wisdom and introducing experts she admires.
Happiness is a choice. Happiness is work. But with determination, it is possible for everyone. (And she’s read Viktor Frankl. She means everyone.)
