Jon Friedman is the author of Forget About Today: Bob Dylan’s Genius for (Re)Invention, Shunning the Naysayers, and Creating a Personal Revolution, and the co-author of House of Cards: Inside the Troubled Empire of American Express.

For 13 years, Jon penned the Media Web column for MarketWatch, and has covered Wall Street for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, USA Today and Investor’s Business Daily. His work has also appeared in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, and on Time.com, Esquire.com, and other media.

Jon currently writes the Media Matrix blog for Indiewire and the Media Buzz blog for Newsmax, and is an adjunct professor at the Stony Brook University School of Journalism. He resides in Manhattan.
